Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is situated within the area of the Rio Verde Urbanization, next to the river with the same name, it is a 1.200 m long beach and 30 m wide, made up by black sand that proceeds mostly from the Rio Verde River. Close by are the remains of a Hispano Roman villa from the Ist century, known as the Rio Verde Roman Villa. Different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, etc. Among the services offered is a beach club and three beach restaurants. Equipment and services: this beach has showers and public toilets, waste paper bins, vigilance towers, life saving and first aid equipment, as well as being watched over by life guards in the summer season.

During your stay in our Madrid Apartments, We recommend you visit this important exhibition in Museo del Prado Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was one of the leading artists of Impressionism, as well as a painter highly alert to the lessons of the great masters of the past, including some of those best represented in the Prado, such as Titian, Rubens and Velázquez, whose work he could have seen during his trip to the Museum in 1892. Renoir devoted himself to painting with an all-absorbing passion throughout his career, achieving great renown and popularity among his contemporaries. The outstanding group of 31 works by the artist, which are the finest among the collection of paintings by Renoir assembled by the American collector Robert Sterling Clark (1877-1956), founder of the Sterling and Francine Clark Institute(Williamstown), will be displayed at the Prado in the first monographic exhibition to be held on the artist in Spain.

Discover the interior of emblematic buildings in Barcelona thanks to 48h Open House Bcn.

A great civic and cultural event that plans to open nearly 130 buildings of all kinds, shape and size imaginable for the public to see, held the weekend of 16 and 17 October. An initiative of the non-profit Association of Reversible Architecture.
'Open House' is a simple concept, open to everyone, offering a unique chance to experience the architecture for free. Visitors can see the architecture with different eyes, may speak with the architects who designed the work, and also may participate in any activity that helps them understand what is architecture. The activities of the Open House invites everyone to explore and understand the value of a well built and designed site. This event started in London in 1992, and since then the concept of 'Open House' has been introduced in several cities around the world: New York, Dublin, Galway, Tel Aviv and now Barcelona.
