Monster Jam, an incredible family show featuring the largest car of the world, Monster Truck racing and freestyle motorcycle by the best riders in the world is coming to Barcelona.
For the second year, after his great success in the first edition, The Monster Jam will be held in the Montjuic Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys on November 12, 2011.
Participants will witness a show in which the Monster Jam will be two types of competitions: the first, a race, "side by side racing ", is traditional bracket racing, where the first truck to cross the finish line with the least number of penalties is the winner. The second form is the "freestyle” that allows drivers a limited amount of time on an open floor to show off their skills as they drive the huge trucks over cars, and doing stunts and tricks.
The Monster Trucks are cars that are 3 feet high by 4 meters long and weighing four tons. They can go from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds and more than 160 km per hour, can jump distance between 33 and 35 meters (same distance of 14 cars placed next to each other) and rise 8 feet in the air.
Before starting the show, attendees can be part of the Pit Party, a party where everyone can take pictures with the drivers, look closely the Monster Truck and and see a spectacular exhibition of classic cars and motorcycles.

Amsterdam will be the stage for the Off Centre electronic Music Festival. The festival will be held at the Melkweg, a popular music venue and cultural center in Amsterdam. It is located on the Lijnbaansgracht, near the Leidseplein.
The Festival will take over the whole club: the two concert halls, the cinema, the theatre and the media room and it also branches out to nearby Sugar Factory and Westerunie at the Westergasfabriek.
Off Centre is a young, underground festival for electronic music. This year is going to feature Djs and live sets. Three nights with the best new electronic, new artist and new sounds will take place in the center of Amsterdam.
