From 3rd to October 10th Madrid will host the VIII Architecture Week 2011. The Organization will be under the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, the COAM and the COAM Architecture Foundation.
The Architecture Foundation will organized the “Open Architecture COAM”, an event with a great program designed for the general public where they will make a series of guided tours of 15 buildings, including: the Conde Duque Barracks, the Palais de Cibeles, The Real Madrid Astronomical Observatory and the BBVA Tower.
The visits will be guided by architecture students and will be free. To become part of this program requires that you register in advance at the COAM Architecture Foundation.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in conferences and debates about urbanism, sustainability, urban facilities and history of Madrid buildings. In addition, the audience will participate in workshops, exhibitions and activities.
