Gospel Festival 2013 in Rome

13-day Roma Gospel Festival

Roma Gospel Festival

This special festival is an annual event in Rome since 1995. It is organized and produced by the “Music for Rome Foundation”. Visitors can be happy to see American choirs and gospel groups, as the festival is the largest Gospel Festival in Europe.

The festival lasts over 13 days and features different acts on every day. In the past groups and singers like Robin Brown and the Soul Children of Chicago took part in the huge event. It takes place every December and attracts more than 2000 visitors. The ticket prices range between 20 and 30€ depending on the act you want to see.

This year’s location is the Parco della Musica Auditorium in Rome. It is located in the northern centre of Rome and offers space for over 2,000 spectators. It features three indoor concert halls and one outdoor space, which reminds of an amphitheater. The Parco della Muscia was opened in 2002 and is a famous facility for musical concerts of all kinds. Paolo Nutini and Alanis Morissette are reputable performers from the past.
