Need a tattoo? Join the tattoo convention 2013 in Florence

Last minute: Annual three-days tattoo convention in November

Are you interested in a tattoo, which beautifies your skin? Then you shouldn’t miss the Florentine Tattoo convention, which takes place annually on three days. It was organized for the first time in 2008. Last minute reminder: It takes place from the 8th until the 10th November 2013.

Over 300 famous artists come together for these three days in one place to help tattoo interested in finding the perfect motive. Included are also life performances, concerts, shows and workshops. An Italian artist named Rita Lynch performs for example a burlesque show. All included shows within the convention can be found here.

There are also contests in which artists can take part to evaluate their skills against others. A new challenge is the "Sketch Challenge", in which participants have to paint a sketch within 15 minutes. There are no categories, so everybody can choose freely what to paint.

Tattoo artists come from the Netherlands, Brazil and New Zealand just to take part in this amazing convention. In the past famous Tony Mancia and Maximo Lutz participated. The location is the Fortezza da Basso, where several other national as well as international events take place. Another large event is for example the international Art and Tourism fair. The Fortezza is 300,000 square foot big and is an often visited site in Florence.
