Grec Festival 2010- 13 June-1 August . Barcelona
When a group of Barcelona theatre professionals commandeered the Teatre Grec in 1976 in order to organise a festival aimed at breathing fresh, vibrant life into what had become an outdated dramatic arts scene, they were driven by a desire for change and a curiosity that, even today, form part of the Grec's principal identifying qualities. The festival is the city’s most important cultural event of the season, where you can enjoy music, theatre, dance and circus at various locations, performed by artists from all over the world or Spanish and Catalan performers.
