Dalí in Rome

DALÍ ARTIST AND GENIUS

The Roman Spring celebrates the bond between Spain and Italy with an extraordinary exhibition: Dali, An Artist, A Genius.
The retrospective, until July 1 2012, is hosted in the wonderful Vittoriano and brings together a collection of great works of genius – artist Dali.

After about 60 years since the last major exhibition dedicated to Dalí, now back in Rome a great show totally focused on one of the greatest artists in the world.

His unique and unmistakable pictorial touch has often been attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. Still, the exhibition wants to show as well the man Dali and not only the artist.

Essential part of the route is an introductory section that shows his voice, his face, his impressive stunts. He was the man and artist together. His life was art. He was art himself.

Born in Figueres, Dalí is both eclectic genius, painter, sculptor, filmmaker, but also one of the most interesting artists of surrealism. He was just the perfect embodiment of surrealism, able to create the same mechanisms of dreams.
If there, don't miss this amazing exhibition in Rome!
