Three Kings Day

In Spain, the Christmas season lasts until January 6, the day of the three kings. So, the Christmas markets and Christmas lights will be still there in the first week of January. For everyone who hasn't enough of Christmas can enjoy the atmosphere a little bit longer.
Three Kings day is one of the most popular events in Spain. The Spanish tradition officially starts one day before (5th of January) With a big parade of the three wise man trough the city of Madrid. During this parade,  the Kings ride on camels or elaborate floats and throw goodies down to the children, usually candy or sweets.
