Where art and entertainment meet
A unique place in Rome where you can spend a good time every day of the week, choosing between concerts, shows, DJ sets, literary performances.
From rockabilly to jazz, passing through 60s beats, Lettere Caffè is both a showcase of new talent and a place to listen to well-known DJs and bands from Rome and beyond.
Founded in October 1999 by the Editors of the monthly magazine Lettere, the café reflects not only the philosophy of the magazine itself, but a new and alternative proposal.
The Letters café in Rome in Trastevere takes the concept of Central European tradition of literary cafés updated to the third millennium. It is open to every cultural proposal from young and old artists in every field of culture: the program includes music literature, visual art, theatre and cabaret. This is again an interesting income opportunity for all those artists for whom it is difficult to reward their creativity.
The entrance to the Arts café is free.
In addition to the artistic weekly programming, Lettere Caffè offers a wide choice of good food and drinks: a Tea Room with chocolate, drink, a wine selection, including a happy hour from 18.00 to 21.00 with Italian aperitif for just 5 euros, Bruschetta and Crostini, regional dishes such as polenta and rice cakes: all strictly organic and vegetarian!
