October 14th to 16th takes place MadrEat food festival. Everyone will find their favorite food from the selection of 80 different food vendors. The MadrEat is held every month and they are always offering new products and tastes. The professional chefs make sure you will experience different and delicious culinary styles.

NBA and Euroleague basketball
To the fans of basketball Madrid offers two matches in October.
The first match takes place 3rd of October when Real Madrid plays against Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Global Games Europe 2016. It will be the Real Madrid’s 8th encounter facing a strong NBA team, when The Thunders are one of the leading teams in the NBA.
The second match takes place 12th of October. It is the first game of Euroleague 2016, Real Madrid against Olympiacos Basketball from Greece. This year the Euroleague has a new format: up to 16 teams will play a round tournament for over 30 match days and the top eight will qualify for a playoff. In the Final Four the four best teams will battle for the win.

In October in Madrid there are also other exhibitions. Check out for example the Bosch at El Escorial. V Centenary exhibition in Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The sample consist eleven works of the artist Hieronymus Bosch and celebrates the 5th centenary of his death.
