Every year in January the Chocolate Festival takes place in Santa Croce square. There are bitter-sweet cakes, artisan confectionary and chocolate tipples. The Garden of the Pitti Palace, the home of the powerful Medici family, is a lovely place for a walk, or some romantic hours sitting on a bench. Inside the house, you find astounding pieces of art.

If you want to do something special, you can take your love to the top of Brunelleschi's cathedral dome. The fantastic view will make him or her breathless.

Day-trip to the Tuscan
If you want to see a small part of the Tuscan, you can also rent a bike for a day. There are some tour groups which offer wine tasting at the end of the day. If you prefer to enjoy your togetherness, you can also rent bikes separately of course.
