Jarabedepalo is Pau Donés, and Pau Donés is Jarabedepalo (previously Jarabe de Palo). They met in 1997 thanks to the song 'La Flaca' which has become a classic. The debut album has the same name and is surprising for its mix of latin rhythms and message of the songs. After this came the albums “Depende”, “De vuelta y vuelta” and “Bonito” which were received well but did not enjoy the same success of the first album but enough for Alanis Morrisette to copy some of their videos. After 1m2, Adelantando and Orquesta recycling, an album with new versions of the greatest hits was realised and also a book, they return with ¿Y ahora qué hacemos? (Now what shall we do?), in which there is a version of the song 'Je l'aime a mourir' by Francis Cabrel, and includes colloborations with Alejandro Sanz, Joaquín Sabina, Antonio Orozco and Carlos Tarque (M-Clan singer).
