Passeig de Gracia
Passeig de Gracia is the most famous shopping place in Barcelona. The 5 km long road, passing from Avinguda Diagonal until and further to Placa Catalunya is the home of high fashion as well as small brand lovers. More upwards to Avinguda Diagonal you will find exclusive and expensive brands like Michael Kors, Prada and Louis Vuitton. In direction to the coast, common names like Mango, Zara, Bershka and Stradivarius are located. Passeig de Gracia is usually full of people seeking for the latest trends. From Placa Catalunya on the street is a pedestrian area, making shopping even more convient and wonderful., as you do not have to look after traffic. However, on the entire street the shopping experience is unique with architecture at its finest. You will surely feel elegant with this beautiful environment ;). Shops at Passeig de Gracia are usually open Monday until Saturday from around 10am until 9pm. However, opening hours may vary from shop to shop. Make sure you don’t miss the famous shopping night in Barcelona on Passeig de Gracia!!!

 

L'illa diagonal

L’illa Diagonal
Barcelona offers plenty of shopping malls with everything under one roof. One famous one is L’illa Diagonal at the upper end of Avingua Diagonal. The mall was creates in 1990 and is formerly known as the Superblock, due to its incredible   size. It hosts famous and popular brands from all over the world. Zara, Bershka, Diesel, Pepe Jean, Nike … you will find EVERYTHING there. The shopping mall is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am until 21.30 pm. The nearest metro stop is Maria Christina on the green L3 line and the direct tram stop is called L’illa. Don’t miss this  nice shopping experience :).

Maremagnum & Les Glòries
Mare Magnum and Les Glòries are two other famous shopping malls. Mare Magnum is directly located at the harbor at the lower end of La Rambla near the Columbus statue. Its outer appearance is a huge mirror, reflecting everyone who is under the roof. The shops inside serve actually everything you need to be happy and additionally they are open every day including Sunday until 10 in the evening! The closest metro station is Drassanes on L3 at the harbor. Les Glòries doesn’t rank behind the other shopping centers. Shops are open as will until 10pm except from Sunday and it serves additionally a dining area with plenty if good restaurants with delicious food. Furthermore, inside is a huge Carrefour with so much food that it will be difficult to decide! 😛

 

Barcelona el corte ingles

El Corte Inglés
El Corte Inglés is another famous mall containing many brands under one roof. It is not only famous in Barcelona, but also in several other big cities. In Spain it is popular since it is the last remaining department store chain there. It’s a world  leader in department stores and dates back to 1890 when a small shop named El Corte Inglés was opened. Not only clothes, but household goods, food as well as electronics and sporting goods can be acquired in plenty of stores in Barcelona.

 

 

Las Ramblas Barcelona

La Rambla
Of course La Rambla is not the last shopping destination in Barcelona, but we want to keep our list short and clear to make shopping simpler. Therefore, La Rambla is the last shopping point on our list :P. It’s probably the most famous touristic street in Barcelona, as it presents a large pedestrian area in the middle of the street from Plaza Catalunya to the harbor, where also Maremagnum is located. La Rambla holds plenty of stands on the pedestrian zone, which are rather touristic. At the side to the street several other fashion shops are located. Watch out for thieves on La Rambla, since it is a famous touristic point. Whether you want to shop or not, La Rambla is always a visit worth.
