Although you don't want to hear it, Madrid offers rainy days as well… Hence, it might happen to you on your city trip that you find yourself waking up with a grey wall of clouds. What to do now? Being frustrated and crying? No way! We have top 3 tips for you to escape the weather, but to enjoy Madrid though in the best possible way.
 

1. Theater/ Circus
Madrid offers plenty of indoor activities. One possibility is an artistic show. The Teatro Circo Price in Madrid offers varying shows, for adults as well as children. From the 5th December on there will be for example a circus show for all ages called Navidades. For 2 hours, the audience is captured by artists, music and the atmosphere. The prices for all the shows vary of course according to the preferred place as well as according to your age. Youth people under 14 get for example a 20% discount. The show is available from the 5th December until the 7th January 2014. Madrid offers many other theaters, which might be interesting as well.

2. Shopping
To shop some memories on a rainy day, you should go into one of the plenty shopping malls in Madrid. The largest shopping mall in Madrid is the Xanadu Commercial and Leisure centre. It serves over 250 shops, containing important brands. Additionally, the mall offers other leisure activities such as restaurants, bars, a bowling area, a movie theatre and much more! Another beautiful leisure place is the Plaza Norte 2. Containing important brands like Pandora, Zara and Levi’s, the shopping mall serves everything you need on a rainy day. 3. Tropical garden
A place where it’s warm and comfy in spite of the rainy day is the Atocha station's hothouse, a tropical garden within the train station. The tropical climate is humid and warm all year round. On a 4000 square meter location, the garden offers varying types of plants and even animals live in this place. Over 7200 types of plants and 260 different species have its habitat within the tropical garden.
