Imperial Russian Ballet presents two classics of Tchaikovsky: The Swam Lake and The Nutcracker

The Imperial Russian Ballet Company was formed in 1994, headed by the Bolshoi Theatre soloist Gediminas Taranda, comprises 40 dancers from the major ballet schools of Russia: Moscow and Perm. On the occasion of its 400th anniversary, the Imperial Russian Ballet will be touring with these two great productions. You can not miss these two classics the next 16th to 17th January 2013

The swam Lake will take place the next January 16th of 2013 in The Ciudad de Marbella Theater, Marbella. The Swam Lake is one of the most loved classical ballet of all times.  Itencapsulates the world of magic and mystical creatures with that of the real world to produce a story where betrayal and power are in the end conquered by the virtues of love and forgiveness.

The Nutcracker will take place this January 17th also in in The Ciudad de Marbella Theater.  This is an amazing story about the angeless tale of bravery and dreams. The story is of a mysterious toy maker (Herr Drosselmayer) who comes to visit a family over Christmas. With him he brings toys for the households two children Clara and Fritz. Clara is particularly taken by one toy, the Nutcracker, and the ensuing adventures she encounters blur the line of dream and reality.
