El Chipiron, worth visiting already just because of its fantastic location. This restaurant is located near shopping centre Maremagnum at the port of Barcelona and looks straight out on the water. Especially when the lights are on at night is this exceptionally beautiful.
 

It is possible to sit inside and enjoy the view, but the real enthusiast will still take a seat outside. You don´t have to be afraid of the cold because the tables are equipped with heating stoves, which also adds to the atmosphere.
 

The restaurant is well known for its seafood, which they prepared very professionally, so it is not a big surprise that there is an rich assortment of seafood and paella to be found on the menu. It is also possible, if you want to relive the moment, to take food home with you from the restaurant. You don’t have to worry if you are not a real fish enthusiast, Chipiron also offers great half chickens or steaks with potatoes. Definitely something worth trying!
 

The service itself is friendly and helpful. Outside you'll get a warm welcome and you will be guided to a table, you don't even have to have a reservation. You don't speak Spanish? No problem! It might take a little bit longer, but the staff will try their best to give you the best service possible.

Typical Mexicanisch in the heart of Barcelona

You don´t have to search long and hard to find typical Mexican food. Step inside Rosa del Raval and you'll imagine yourself in the heart of Mexico.

This very cozy restaurant is located near the Ramblas in the heart of the Raval area and easy to reach from our apartments in Barcelona.

The first thing you notice while entering the restaurant is the typical, cheerful and above all colorful design. This is thanks to the Mexican designer Lorena Zertuche, who has decorated the entire restaurant. Eye catchers which are impossible to ignore are the bright colors, the wall decorations and the unique way in which the restaurant is divided. With multiple levels and various corners they made it possible to create an intimate yet funky atmosphere.

The Mexican chefs have a lot of experience and prepare their traditional Mexican food with only fresh ingredients. Think about delicious fajitas, nachos with guacamole, salsa, quesadillas, tacos or burritos and feel right at home in Rosa del Raval.

Besides great food Rosa del Raval offers a selection of indigenous Mexican tequila's. These come from the Jalisco region where, according to the Mexicans, the only real tequila comes from. The cocktails they serve are made from daily fresh squeezed fruit and get served in special designed jars.

The Quatre Gats restaurant in Barcelona, opened on June 12th of 1897. Cradle of the Catalan Modernism, today continues offering dishes of Catalan and Mediterranean tradition

The story starts at the end of the 19th century, when Pere Romeu worked as an entertainments presenter and waiter in the cabaret Le Chat Noir. Enchanted with this atmosphere, he decided to create a similar place in Barcelona.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Casa Martí (1896), a building by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch in Carrer Montsió near the center of Barcelona.

Els Quatre Gats was a place where artist as Pablo Picasso, Santiago Rusiñol i Prats, Miquel Utrillo  and the sculptor Julio González used to meet with friends.

Under the same slogan of cheap food and piano music, Els Quatre Gats is an amazing place to visit and enjoy the best Catalan and Mediterranean food and have a good moment with friends.
