Alkimia is located behind the Sagrada Familia and has an incredible atmosphere thanks to its minimalist decoration and imaginative and very colored food.

Jordi Vilà, the Alkimia´s chef , is internationally renowned as a creative culinary asset with the highest potential within the new Spanish cuisine movement. Vilà has been able to generate a new corpus of cuisine that takes us to a unusual universe of colors that “alchemically” transform the finest raw ingredients into  new classics of contemporary  21st century cuisine.

One of the recommended dishes to start is the traditional pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato and olive oil), served in a special way by the chef. From the main dish, The Mar Adentro is one of the classics to be continuo, is called that way because of its blue color achieved by an infusion of basil. And do not forget to ask for  the excellent wine to accompany your meal.

La Champagneria, in Barceloneta. Here you can findcheap and tasty cava. It's actually a 2 in 1 concept, because it is also a shop. In the front you can order all sorts of tapas at the bar. This "flushing" you away with its wonderful inexpensive cava. Can Paixano is a good place to drink before going out. This shop / tasting already closes at 22:30, so be on time!

Located in El Born for a decade, the restaurant welcomes us in a bistrot-like atmosphere divided into different spaces and a decor that is part of its charm.
