The 25th edition of Cinekid Festival will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from October 18th until October 21st 2011.

Cinekid Festival is an annual Film, Television and New Media Festival for Children. Each year, the Festival welcomes 50,000 kids and their parents who have the opportunity of  visit the 200 media-productions that Cinekid presents.

The festival features carefully selected a range of live-action and animated films, documentaries, short films, cross media productions, interactive installation and  television programmes.

At Cinekids Festival, kids will find one of the most interesting places where will learn all about media production and latest media technology: the ever-popular MediaLab.

Also, Cinekid includes workshops, seminars and meetings with media professionals from the Netherlands and all world. The festival also plays host to major premieres, special guests, fantastic parties and the fabulous Cinekid Awards.

The CineKids Festival will take place at the Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen 21 near the The Grachtengordel neighborhood, zone where you will visit  main Amsterdam's canels: the Herengracht, Keizersgracht and the Prinsengracht.
