The Bonsai Museum in Marbella is one of the best in Europe and the one with the largest collection of wild olive trees in the world. The museum house 300 miniature trees from 40 different species. A  great place to visit with whole family.

The collection makes an impression on visitors from start to finish, you will find interesting specimens as the hackberry –from China, with bright green deciduous leaves– and a 300-year-old wild olive tree.

The Bonsai Museum in Marbella also has miniature native species from the rich natural environment in the surrounding area. Some, such as the Spanish fir trees, are threatened with extinction, and all are genuine works of art which are worthy of admiration.

It opens :Monday to Sunday, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m

Fair in San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella

The San Pedro de Alcantara celebration in October is tons of fun!

The 19th of October is the day of the Patron Saint of San Pedro de Alcanta, an important day for all people of the region . San Pedro de Alcantara is part of  Marbella a town in Andalusia, Spain, situated on the Mediterranean Sea, in the province of Málaga.

During the week, locals celebrate with live music on the Marques del Duero Street, fireworks and dances where women dressed in their flamenco dresses . Also, enjoying tapas and drink the famous “Rebujito”, a cocktail that mixes Manzanilla, white wine and soft drinks.

The Fair in  San Pedro is a non stop party for all the family, even the younger will enjoy with lot of special activities in the Caseta Juvenil with Djs and dancing for all night long.
