Semana de la Arquitectura (1st-7th of October)
Semana de la Arquitectura or architecture week includes exhibits, children’s workshops, a trade fair, and public events. It’s your chance to visit some of Madrid’s most beautiful and famous buildings while taking part in fun events. The event will include over 30 itineraries to guide you between the charming buildings of the city, from historic landmarks to the most famous the choice will be yours.
La Noche en Blanco (4th of October)
The festival “La Noche en Blanco” is one of the most exciting events in Madrid during the Autumn months. During this festival, almost all the museums, theatres and exhibit halls are open to the public for free. Live performances are held in Madrid’s main squares, you will also find activities going on in one of Madrid's most famous parks, Parque del Retiro.
Nocturna: Madrid International Fantasy Film Festival (22nd to 26th of October)
This year is the 6th edition of the Madrid international fantasy film festival. This year’s event will include the presence of Don Mancini who is the creator of Child’s Play (1988), he is set to receive a prestigious award. Since the first festival in 2012, the event has seen stable growth and now has had over 15,000 visitors to the projection theatres. There is a number of places outside the competition that show a wide range of films.
Estampa Contemporary Art Fair 2019 (17th to 20th of October)
Estampa Contemporary Art Fair brings together over 75 Spanish and other international galleries together. The fair offers events based on art and collecting, there will also be debates and parallel activities.
