Three Kings Parade (Cabalgata de Reyes)

On 5th of January, Spanish people celebrate Cabalgata de Reyes, resembling a second Christmas or rather the end of the Christmas season. Tradition says that the Three Kings came to visit baby Jeses, and brought gifts with them. On their return journey, they handed out their gifts to children.
Madrid's huge parade will display the theme of inventions this year. One can admire big figures of Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, and Leonardo Da Vinci, as well as huge televisions, the locomotive, and much more. The parade is always a big ordeal, working together with 9 different art companies (two from France), twelve floats, and over 2.000 people.
Route: starting at Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz to Plaza Cibeles, passing bz Paseo de la Castellana and Paseo de Recoletos.

With the Inverfest 2018, Madrid welcomes the new musical season. During the festival, one can enjoy cultural activities, and of course plenty of music concerts at the Teatro Circo Price.
From 12th of January until 4th of February, one can listen to music of all genres, from Cabaret, symphony or flamenco, to rock'n'roll and many more.
The following artists have already announce that they will play at Inverfest 2018:
Carlos Nuñez, Bebe, Petit Pop, Neumann, Viva Suecia, Cintia Lund, Los Chichos, M Clan, Gemeliers, Andrés Suárez, Iván Ferreiro, Los Chicos del Coro, and Zenet.

FITUR
FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair, celebrates its 38th edition this year from 17th until 21st of January. It is the global meeting point for professionals from the sector and trading fairs of Latin American markets.
Last year, over 9.500 companies participated at FITUR and over 7.000 journalists attended, showing its importance in international circuit of tourism sector events.
FITUR represents different exhibition areas, such as FITUR Health, Fiturtech, Fitur LGBT, Fitur Green and so on.
Recognised as a big event in the global tourist industry, it is also a place for the public to visit.

Madrid Fusion 2018

This year, the 16th edition of Madrid Fusion will take place from 22nd to the 24th of January at the Municipal Conference Centre. During this event national and international chefs will come together to turn Madrid into a world of gastronomic adventures.
Each edition invites one country as the special gastronomic guest, which was Argentina last year.
Chefs form all around the world will take part in technical demonstrations, training workshops, competitions, auctions, and prizes.
Next to all these activities, th IV edition of The Chef of the Year competition will also take place, as well as the Breakthrough Chef award.
