Halloween season comes to an end and Christmas is around the corner. Let's discover how Barcelona is getting ready for the cold season.
Tots Sants – All Saints
Barcelona starts the new month with a festivity called "Tots Sants". This festival is dedicated to the memory of our forbears. On 1st of November, Catalans traditionally eat chestnuts, moniatos or "boniatos" in spanish (sweet potatoes), panellets – small marzipan cakes, and drink Muscatel or "moscatel" sweet wine.

The following day, family members visit cemeteries to bring flowers and honour the dead. Cemetries' opening hours are longer on these days.
You should go visit the cemetery at Montjuic, its museum and collection of funeral carriages.
