Barcelona’s international Jazz festival is one of the most historic music events in the city. The Jazz festival starts on the 19th of October and runs until early 2020. The event gathers jazz talent from all over the world and gives you the opportunity to see a performance in places such as Palau de la Música Catalana, the Auditori del Fórum, the Consevatori del Liceu and other venues around Barcelona. Some big names attending this year are the 24-year-old Catalan Jazz singer and trumpeter Andrea Motis, the 39-year-old singer from Georgia Lizz Wright and groups such as La Locomotora and Martín Leito Big Band. The festival opens with a “Jazz & Food” event on the 28th of September for the third consecutive year. There is now a list of events for the coming month of October:
