The Barcelona Aquarium is another example of a place that accommodates people off all ages. Its main attraction is the Oceanari, which is a giant shark infested tank with a glass tunnel and conveyor belt that passes through it. But if this is too scary for younger children then there are other rooms with different activities where kids can play “find Nemo” amongst kaleidoscopic fish and also another room aimed at pre-school kids and is educational and fun. Visit the Barcelona Aquarium website where you will find all the information that you need about different activities.

Museum of Ideas and Inventions (MIBA)

The Museum of Ideas and Inventions was originally designed for adults to create quirky and unique inventions that can potentially be turned into prototypes. As well as this one of the favorite features amongst the kids is a big slide going from one floor down into the main room. Be aware though that occasionally this is closed. After the museum there is a shop where it is possible to buy some of the inventions.
