In January Barcelona is calm and peaceful. The at another time crowded streets are now quiet, and perfects for strolling around.
Three Kings Parade
“La Cabalgata de Reyes Magos” is celebrated on Thursday 5th January. It’s the biggest Christmas celebration in all over Spain. In Barcelona it’s celebrated with a big parade trough the city.
Although the public holiday and day for opening the Christmas presents is January 6th, is the 5th the day when the Three Wise Man arrives to Barcelona and large focus of the celebrations is then. In the parade the Three Kings throws sweets and gifts to the children, while everyone is on the streets welcoming them back from their long journey to the East.

On the Three Kings Day is a tradition to eat a pastry called "Roscón de Reyes".
BarGelona Ice-Skating Rink
Until 8th of January it is possible to go Ice-Skating in La Farga in L’Hospitalet, little bit outside Barcelona. In addition to the ice-skating rink there will be for example a café, live music, exhibitions, sporty games, and a recreation area for teens and kids.

In Poblenou neighborhood is organized a second hand market on 8th January. All articles will be on sale with only 1 euro! From here you can find everything: clothes, books, magazines, toys… Go, and find treasures!

Circ Raluy Barcelona
The Circ Raluy circus is a tradition in Barcelona, and it brings a new show every year. It is a historic travelling circus, and it also has a museum of old circus caravans. The Circ Raluy takes place in Port Vell, and will stay there until 10th February.

Fundació Joan Miró’s program of activities for families is called Familimiró. It invites families to experiment workshops, shows, and tours. The activities are related to the building, and to the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Fundació.
