Next weekend is busy in Barcelona when all the Formula One guests and teams arrives to the city.
Primavera als Barris
Primavera Sound is one of the biggest music festivals organized in Barcelona, and it has been going on ever since 2002. Now they will launch the third edition of Primavera als Barris. Every Thursday until the 25th of May they will stage a concert in various neighborhoods of Barcelona.
This week’s concert will be held at Centre Cultural La Farinera del Clot on Thursday 12th, and it starts at 7:30pm. The concert is free and you will get there easily by taking the red metro line and jumping off at Glòries.

F1 Formula One 2017 Barcelona
At Montmelo Circuit de Catalunya is held the F1 Formula One race for three days during the weekend 12th-14th of May. Here you can see the best F1 drivers in the world competing in one of the most important F1 races, and get an unforgettable experience.
The formula circuit is within one hour to north from Barcelona.

International New Roses Contest
At the Rose Park Cervantes you can see 10.000 roses from 2000 different species. The garden was created in 1965 by architects Lluís Riudor and Joaquim M. Casamor. At the park there is showed the history of roses through a main route and botanical wild roses grouped according to geographical origins.
In 2009 the park got the prestigious Excellence Award for its beauty, history and educational value.
This year the International Competition of New Roses of Barcelona celebrates its 17th edition. During the competition you can see the presentation of new varieties of roses.
The International Competition of New Roses is going on during the weekend 12th-14th of May. You can easily reach the park by taking the green metro line and jumping off at Palau Reial.
Tapas. Spanish Design for Food
Museu del Disseny de Barcelona (Barcelona Design Museum) presents the Tapas. Spanish Design for Food exhibition until 20th of May. The exhibition has been traveling around the world for three years now at such cities as Miami, Toronto, Tokyo and Seoul, among others.
Tapas. Spanish Design for Food is curated by architect and designer Juli Capella, and it explores the interaction between design and food. In this exhibition you can see more than 250 pieces – everything from furniture to gadgets and from containers to photographs – linking the world of material to food, history and graphic design.
